(1)The Genesis
of the K.V:
1966-67.
K.V.No.1,Bokaro Steel City was founded in the year
1966-67 in sector – III, in the BSL Middle School
building. Initially it had classes I to VIII with 01
section each.
1969-70. The vidyalaya was
shifted from sector – III to sector – I Bokaro High
School Building.
1973-74. The vidyalaya was
shifted to the present location at sector – IV-D,Bokaro
Steel City.
(2)Important
milestones of growth:
1966-67
Vidyalaya was founded with classes I to VIII.
1969-70 The Vidyalaya was
upgraded to Class – X.
1973-74 The Vidyalaya was
shifted to the present location at Sector – IV – D.
1984 The Vidyalaya
auditorium construction was completed by the BSL.
1991-92 The extension of
the Vidyalaya building by the BSL- Physics
Laboratory, Geography
Laboratory,Junior Science Laboratries. and two
Galleries - Class XI-C & XII-D.
2003-04 Extension of the
vidyalaya building Primary Section – Classes V-A,B,C
& D .
(3)Gradual year wise
expension in classes & sections.
1966-67 Classes I to VIII
01 section each
1969-70 Classes
IX,X,XI,XII began, Science & Arts stream began.
Hr.Secondary classes were expended up to 03 sections
each.
2000-01 Commerce stream
began in Hr.Secondary.
2003-04 Classes were
expended up to 04 section each.
