A meeting of VMC of K.V.No.1,B.S.City was held on
14.08.2009 at 11.00 A.M in the Principals Chamber convened by Hon’ble Sh.V.Narayan,G.M(Shops & Foundry),BSL
& chairman, VMC,K.V.No.1,B.S.City. The following members attended the

Agenda:
1. CONSTITUTION
OF VMC/VEC – It was
decided to constitute new committee of
VMC/VEC for 2009-10 after fulfilling codal provisions.The following members of
VMC would be the members of VEC:

2. PURCHASE
ADVISORY COMMITTEE
- Hon’ble Chairman,VMC was of the
opinion that VEC will itself work as

OFF COMMITTEE – It was
decided to constitute the write off committee for unserviceable articles. The
following members would be the part of said committee.

4. PURCHASE
OF AQUAGARD & WATER COOLER – It was decided to purchase purifier cum water coolers as required
for the interest of students after verifying the proper standard & Brand
digital camera.
5. AUDIO
VISUAL AIDS,LCD PROJECTOR, CC CAMERA,DIGITAL CAMERA & INTERCOMs – The members emphasised the need of Audio
Visual Aids & LCDs for ICT based teaching. It was also decided to install
CC Camera at the main entrance corridors and other important places (except
classrooms) with PA announcement system and Intercom link with Principal’s
chamber to different departments of the vidyalaya.
6. MAINTENANCE
& REPAIR (RENOVATION OF AUDITORIUM) – It was discussed elaborately and all members were
unanimous about the urgent need of maintenance for the face lift of the
Vidyalaya. It was apprised by the principal that BSL has been approached with
detailed report regarding renovation of Auditorium in particular but till date
no action has been taken. The chairman,VMC advised that once again it should be
moved through him and Hon’ble M.D,BSL should be approached in writing .
7. MEDICAL
CHECKUP FOR STUDENTS –
It was decided to do the medical checkup for students by prominent doctors of
BGH. In this connection Hon’ble chairman,VMC advised to take the matter to the
Director ,BGH.
8. APPOINTMENT
of CONTRACTUAL TEACHERs
- It was decided by the committee
members that new appointment will be formed for next session.
9. DEVELOPMENT
OF PLAYGROUND & MORNING ASSEMBLY PLATEFORM – Hon’ble chairman,VMC advised to send a proposal to
peripherial Deptt.(T.A) for levelling of down land of the vidyalaya play ground
and the assembly platform can be taken up by the vidyalaya .
10. ELECTRICAL
FITTINGS & REPAIR WORK - It was decided that electrical fittings of
the vidyalaya are not safe so immediate efforts are required to be taken for
the safety & security of the students.Principal suggested the chairman to
take the issue with the BSL authorities with appropriate requirements otherwise
is was suggested by the chairman, VMC that the same should be done by the
vidyalaya itself.
11. REPAIR
& PROCUREMENT OF THE FURNITURES – Keeping in to the deficiencies of furniture’s
repairing may be undertaken in priorities on work order basis by taking
competitive rates from the market. New furnitures can be procured after
verifying the actual requirement through competition of open tender.
12. MISCELLANEOUS
POINTS – In addition
to the above agendas following points were also discussed during VMC Meeting :
1.Construction of vidyalaya main entrance

3.Construction of vehicle stand for staff
members (it should be constructed
at
such a place that look of the vidyalaya may not disturbed )
4.Fans may be purchased for class room at
competitive rate with quality.
5. Construction of Guard Room &
enhancement of security at night.
